Summary

Zonelyy is a free, browser-based time-zone converter. We don't require an account. We don't sell data. The cities you add and the times you pick are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers. We use minimal analytics to understand which features are used and to improve the product.

Data we collect

We collect the minimum needed to operate the service:

Local app state. Your selected cities, time format, and home city are stored in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device.
Server logs. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
Privacy-respecting analytics. We use anonymized, aggregated analytics that do not set advertising cookies and do not track you across sites.
Contact form submissions. If you write to us, we store your message and email address so we can reply.

How we use it

To operate and improve the converter.
To respond to support requests you send us.
To detect abuse, security threats, and bugs.
To prepare aggregate, non-identifying statistics about usage.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions that affect you.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Hosting and infrastructure providers who run our servers under standard data-processing agreements.
Authorities, where legally required by a valid order.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest in operating a useful service, plus your consent for non-essential cookies. If you are in California, you can opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information — though we don't engage in either.

Retention

Server logs: up to 30 days.
Aggregated analytics: up to 25 months.
Contact-form messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
Local browser state: until you clear it.

Children

Zonelyy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page and, where required, communicated more prominently.
